I’m trying to buy less in 2026. I’m allowed to buy books, plants and experiences. But today on just the 7 January I had to get new glasses. Boots had a BOGOF deal. So of course I got two. I made them transition lenses so they double up as sun glasses. But my no buying has already failed due to losing my glasses 🤓 tomorrow is another day

This year I am looking to reduce my carbon footprint by buying less. I am a social media user and way too influenced by adverts. Things ear-worm their way into my head as the next thing I need. Which once bought of course I don’t!!
So this year. I’m am going to buy less. Nothing new apart from un**es! Oh. And maybe plants and books!!
But I am allowing myself experiences. This means less stuff and more memories to make.
So far. I’m doing well. But it is only 6 January!

My squash and courgettes got eaten by slugs. I am now more prepared but have no plants left. Anyone got any spare. Ideally Patty squash and a yellow courgette and a green courgette. Happy to pay. Unfortunately nothing left to swap
