A fascinating brief to work on, the client wanted a garden planted entirely with species that would have been around in medieval times. I collaborated on the design and layout with Rick and he magically brought it to life with his wonderful planting. A really rewarding challenge, and amazing to see how it’s established. You can break up large areas of hard-landscaping with pea gravel channels and pockets of scented ground cover like this beautiful Thyme. 🌱 I’ve been working with this lovely client since 2023 when we first met and they are building their garden in stages. You can reap rewards from your space even if you can’t do it all at once!

The planting in this Bristol project really settling in. No lawn, just planting, generous pathway and an inviting seating area in a sunny position at the back. A climber will eventually cover the bespoke rebar trellis and corner pergola. I think I’d like to move in here!
