Finally getting the chance to restore old furniture. Creating bespoke pieces in peoples homes is my day to day but restoring is my passion. I found the Secretaire Bureau on Facebook and knew I could give it a new lease of life from its garish pink past (swipe for photos) I’ve added doors and replaced some damages and I painted it a Navy blue to add an elegant finish.

I’m hoping to restore a few pieces and be able to show them in the summer months at local fayres.

But for now this one is for sale if anyone is interested. Please just contact me.

What a month it’s been, one by one the ladies in my house have gone down with Covid 🦠 luckily all better now and I somehow have managed to escape it! I haven’t posted a lot recently so here are some recent jobs.

1) Alcove shelving and cupboard with industrial bracket, light oak stained shelving

2) Understairs storage, Victorian panelling under the stairs removed delicately to try reuse original panels as the new storage doors

3) A very new cool use of an old fireplace, now a snug home for doggo.

***UPDATE*** my customer has now sent me a picture of their frame filled with origami from their wedding day. What an incredible keepsake 😍
