** Lovely Job but now out of action**

Please Read

So I had the pleasure to do large job for a lovely couple during February!
Boiler had blown up leaving an awful sooty mess in their utility room…no problem! Primed and sealed and now scuff and water moisture/resistant paint transformed the room and left it like new👌🏻

Then onto lots of water Ingress damage in various rooms in their 2 cottages.

Lovely new Farrow and Ball blue in the living room and then advised them to really enhance their beautiful kitchen with a wraparound shade of light green which looks fantastic!

Onto their other cottage which again needed several repairs and a refresh up of the white which now looks brand new and a brightening of their bathroom using a high quality moisture resistant paint which again gives the room a lovely fresh look ready for their holiday season!

Now for the BAD News! Unfortunately just after finishing this job I have had a severe accident which has required surgery re-attaching my bicep tendon to my elbow which will see me out of action for the foreseeable future (3-6) months. 😔

Should you require any work after the summer then please drop me a message as I can imagine my diary will be pretty busy from then!

Bringing the old back to life!

It took a lot of work to bring these original late 1800’s cottage doors that have a 1000 stories to tell back to life!
Beautiful old locks and brass handles that had been criminally neglected and just glossed over (badly!)

I wanted a patina look to reflect to the age of the doors, locks and handles and the same for the coats hanging wooden plinths!

Absolutely love the finish on the now beautiful flat eggshell doors 👌🏻

Starting the year off with a bang I was given the honour again this year to return and undertake the decorating work for the prestigious Kinloch Lodge.

Working at such historic place is such a privilege and this years work over 4 weeks was substantial ranging from 2 main dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, woodwork across the site, repairs and much more!

It's been an absolute pleasure to work with a fantastic team and the wonderful Isabella.

Another varnished ceiling no longer! 😃

Absolute pleasure to transform a living room space for some lovely clients over the past couple of weeks.
Clients wanted a new modern look to their varnished ceiling (which can be a daunting process!) and woodwork and thats what they now have! 👌🏻
Clients choice of colour (Dulux Heritage) for the ceiling is perfect and really lifts the room 😍

Large house revamp over the past few weeks at the top of the island which included bringing the damaged walls back to life, stripping the staircase back to wood and painting wallpapered walls!
Clients who were fantastic chose some lovely colours to complement the future look as well as taking things back to white. They chose a really strong colour for the stairs and absolutely nailed it! 👌🏻

Full 4 bedroom house refresh over the past few weeks up the island for a lovely customer whose daughter was a budding wall artist! So we decided to leave and highlight one of her masterpieces 😂😂🤗

Fresh pastel colours from Skye paints worked really well giving the place a fresh modern look!
Woodwork throughout the house was also refreshed after some knotting 👌🏻

Continuation of another ongoing project for these lovely clients over the past week who kept the blue bathroom theme going to beautiful effect as well as adding in a fantastic light grey by Benjamin Moore.
The highlight was when they decided to breath new life into some very old doors but we wanted to keep the character as they tell their own story! 🚪

The pictures don’t do it enough justice! Especially the peppermint green colour drenched staircase! 👌🏻👌🏻

Back once again to continue to work for this lovely couple and we are getting to completion of the full house.

Lots of tape repairs and patching work then onto colour drenching and glossing!
We decided as it was upstairs to colour drench and give it a wrap around look and wow does it look fantastic! 😵👌🏻
Colours in Farrow & Ball chosen by the clients and they nailed it again! 👍🏻

A simple freshen up can make all the difference 👌🏻

Last week’s lovely client asked if I could tidy up the wood panelled ceiling and give the place a full refresh so that’s what it got and what a difference! Also gave the worktops and re-oil! 😃👌🏻👌🏻

My diary is open from August onwards but there are already bookings in for Autumn so please drop me a message asap if you have any redecorating plans coming up! 😃👍🏻
