Our Managing Director Josh Goacher was out on a walk with his wife Ashley Goacher and they were discussing the various charity walks she has done and plans on doing.
Josh then rather stupidly made the flippant remark that he thought he could do the 100km in under 15 hours.
Obviously Ashley said that she didn’t think he could.
Now being an ex soldier Josh’s first instinct when being told he can’t achieve something is to set about achieving it.
So today Josh signed up for the 2024 London to Brighton
He will be running (probably crawling) to raise money for the incredible charity Scotty's Little Soldiers to help them continue the AMAZING work they do for bereaved forces children.
Just Giving link to follow.
He’s putting his money where his mouth is.
If he doesn’t complete it in under 15 hours he will donate £500 to the pot on top of what is raised.
