A challenging job completed in Ramsgate yesterday.

The customer was unable to open their gate lock because the key had stopped operating the mechanism. Normally, this type of job would be simple as the internal snib could usually be reached by leaning over the gate.

However, this property had high steel security fencing above the gate, making access much more difficult. Using our specialist long-reach letterbox tools, we were able to carefully manipulate the snib through the metal railings and gain entry without causing any damage. ✅

Another job completed in Cliftonville this morning.

The customer called because their key would no longer insert fully into the lock. After inspecting the mechanism, we found that one of the internal pins had become stuck, preventing the key from operating correctly.
