We are pleased to announce that the proposed new public toilet facilities at Stone Bay, Broadstairs are now officially open for tender.

This project represents an exciting investment in the future of one of Kent's most popular coastal destinations, delivering modern, accessible and sustainable facilities designed to enhance the visitor experience while complementing the unique character of the seafront environment.

The proposed development includes a contemporary public convenience building with accessible facilities, improved public realm, enhanced maintenance access and a biodiverse green roof designed to integrate with the surrounding coastal landscape.

Following completion of the design and tender documentation stages, the project is now available to contractors through the open tender process.
We look forward to supporting the next stage of the project and seeing this important community facility progress towards construction.

This Grade II listed building—formerly the Ramsgate fire station—has a rich and characterful history, and we’re excited to be part of its next chapter.

Urban Surveying has been appointed by Ramsgate Town Council to deliver its change of use into a vibrant community and workspace hub.

Our scope of services includes:

Restoring heritage, one detail at a time.

We recently had the privilege of working alongside town carpentry ltd to bring this beautiful historic home back from severe water damage. Our scope included coordinating essential concrete, timber, and steel repairs, along with the replacement of the balcony tiles — with more restoration works still to come.

Acting as contract administrators, we worked closely with the contractor to ensure every intervention respected and preserved the building’s original character. The goal was simple: breathe new life into the structure while protecting its historic fabric.

A careful balance of restoration and craftsmanship — bringing this home back to life without compromising its story.

We were delighted to support this transformation in Broadstairs, where an underperforming conservatory was demolished and replaced with a beautifully integrated rear extension. The new space has been designed to maximise natural light and flow, creating a generous open-plan kitchen, living and dining area that connects seamlessly with the garden.
