We've survived an incredibly hot weekend selling at Bryanston School Summer Fair all weekend.
Thanks so much to everyone who bought our plants & we hope they give you many hours of garden pleasure!
We will be out next in 2 weeks, a Plant Heritage event at Abbotsbury Gardens on June 7th. More info to follow nearer the time.

It was great to see all our nursery/grower friends this weekend, including Pondtek- local pond specialists who helped me out last week!
Also a super crafter called Molly who trades as Made By Molls creating some really beautiful signs & other things, plus made to order items. Have a look at her FB page!

The plant season is racing onwards and our next event will be in 10 days time at Bryanston School in Blandford. This is their Summer Fair, with loads of different stalls of all types outside (+ us!) and inside the school buildings. Open each day 10-5, you can spend a whole day enjoying this event.

I'm busy prepping my plants ready to go to the plant fair at Yarlington House this coming Saturday 9th May.
A good variety of perennials will be available at great prices.
There are not many flowers out on my plants yet, but very soon they will be covered in beautiful flowers. There are lots of buds showing on most of them.
Here are a few pics of what will be going- all up on stands tonight to try and stop the slugs and snails having a feast!!

Some super plants are waiting to be bought by you to be planted straight out into your gardens! Lots of large perennial plants and our remaining 9cm Salvia's, Verbena Meteor Shower and Gaura Karalee White. These will be £5 each, 3 for £14 at the show.

Hoping to see you there. Get there early as there is always an long queue, it's a very popular plant fair!

EDIT: Massive thanks to all who bought our plants at yesterdays plant. Hopefully you are really pleased with them.Thanks to Specialist Plant Fairs for organising the event and Mapperton House for hosting.
We had the best sales in our record of selling and out of the 224 plants (large & small) we took crated up to the event, only 17 returned home!!
*Please do note that the Autumn plant fair which is usually at Mapperton in Sept. is going to be held at Kingston Maurward on Sept 13th.*

The plants are all ready for tomorrows plant fair at Mapperton House. I'm hoping there is something to appeal to everyone in my selection, plus my baby plants are coming out for the first time this season. Definitely a bit early, but we have lovely 9cm Salvias in Viola's Darling, Angel Wings, Wine & Roses, Melba Magic Peach, 10cm Amistad (blue) and 9cm Gaura Karalee White. £5 each, 3 for £14.
Prices are higher this season due to increases in fuel, carriage & the plants themselves. Most of these baby plants are bought in as plug plants & a royalty has to be paid as they are covered by the licence which is called Plant Breeders Rights (PBR).
Hoping to see some of you there & please remember you are welcome to buy from me at home, but an appointment needs to be made to come and see the plants, as I don't open set hours.

This is a lovely venue to visit- the gardens and cafe are very worth a visit to make it a super day out!
Our young plants are a bit ahead of themselves this season, so we will be bring some 9cm Salvia Amistad, 9cm Gaura Karalee White as well as young Echinacea Southern Belle all growing well and ready for their new homes. Ofcourse these are available from our home address too for those local here (47 Northbrook Rd, please email)

We'll be at the Courtyard Craft Centre in Lytchett for Easter Saturday! 10-4.
Here are some piccies of the plants we will be taking to tempt you! It is still very early in the season for perennials, so they will have lots more growing to do, but they are all nice size plants ready to pop into your borders or tubs.
Good quality plants at very competitive prices.
Come and see and enjoy browsing round all the businesses. Have refreshments at the cafe while you are here.

Well, the plant season is swiftly approaching for us and we are kicking off with a 'pop-up' this coming Easter Saturday nice & close to home at the Courtyard Centre, 10-4.
We'll have some great perennials on offer- early in the season for them, but nice big plants suitable for planting out straight away in your borders. And at great prices!
Hopefully the weather will be kind to us for this lovely event & we hope to see you there.

Early season work is underway here at my tiny micro nursery!
I have been busy trying not to get soaked through while potting up lots of lovely bare root plants ahead of the planting season!

Our first time out will be at the lovely (and famous!) Mapperton House on Sunday April 19th. More details to follow in a few weeks time.
