🌳 POSITION AVAILABLE:
YARD / FIREWOOD & FENCING TEAM 🌳

Westbeams Tree Care Ltd are looking for a reliable individual to join our yard and firewood team, with additional labouring on fencing projects across the New Forest.

This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a team.

Role includes:
• Firewood processing and order fulfilment
• Yard organisation and general duties
• Loading, unloading and site preparation
• Labouring on fencing jobs

Applicants should:
🌳 Be reliable and hard-working
🌳 Be willing to learn and take instruction
🌳 Be able to use initiative
🌳 Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
🌳 Be aged 18+

No experience required – full training provided.

Progression opportunities for the right candidate.

A driving licence is an advantage but not essential.

Red Oak crown reduction 🌳

This mature protected Red Oak (22m x 22m) underwent a 2-3 metre crown reduction to control its size, enhance its overall shape and eliminate major deadwood.

When undertaking such work, our primary objective is to preserve the trees natural appearance and balance while making it safer and more suitable for its environment. We’re pleased with the result, particularly given the substantial amount removed.

Removal of this mature Beech

One of the main trunks had previously failed, leaving the remaining stem unsafe.

The tree was carefully dismantled, with a habitat stump retained and left in a natural state to support wildlife.

These two mature Oak trees recently underwent a heavy pollard to around 8m due to signs of decay and cavities within the main trunks.

As protected trees, all works were approved and carried out with the goal of prolonging the trees life and ensuring safety and stability for years to come.
