This kitchen is designed as a single, continuous stone installation, with the worktop flowing directly into the wall cladding above. Rather than treating each surface as a separate element, the layout is planned as one composition, allowing the natural pattern of the stone to carry through from the horizontal worktop into the vertical panels.
Where possible, the stone is pattern-matched between every piece so the veining aligns across joints and reads as one uninterrupted surface. In materials where the pattern is not naturally book-matched, achieving this continuity is more challenging. In these cases, our team uses 3D planning software to digitally map the slabs before fabrication, carefully positioning each section to encourage the veins to flow as naturally as possible from one piece to the next.
All of this planning happens long before cutting begins and ensures the final installation feels deliberate and balanced rather than random. The result is a cohesive kitchen where the worktop and wall cladding work together visually, reflecting the level of thought, care, and technical planning that goes into the finished space.
