Merry Wednesday everyone!
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week? Weather has been a little funky but all in all, quite nice.
So, an unusual week for me, it’s not every day someone loses a key for a 2026 SEAT Cupra. Well, I was contacted to provide a spare and that’s exactly what I did. Once again, a customer that’s extremely happy and relieved that they have the peace of mind of 2 keys for their car.

I’ve attended a couple of jammed doors, had them opened swiftly and replaced the broken parts. I’ve also upgraded some locks, one in particular was 5 keyed alike thumb turn locks for someone who struggles a little with keys. Problem solved 😊
I hope you all have a wonderful week and remember! Crime is on the rise again, especially around Ironbridge! Garages & sheds are being broken in to so please, try to secure them as best you can to protect your hard-earned things.

Good morning and Merry Wednesday! It’s been one hell of a scorcher! How have you all managed in the heat and do you have any tips for staying cool?

So, what an epic 2 days leading up to the bank holiday weekend. I left my house at 09:00 on the Thursday and I didn’t get home until 22:30. Every time I finished a job, I’d have 2 more calls come in. I even met a lovely chap called Charlie and I ended up fixing his VW Crafter following a complete ignition meltdown! Oh and a spare key for his van too 😊 Thank you Charlie!

In the end I completed 10 jobs all over Shropshire. 2 House jobs, failed mech and a lockout and 8 vehicle jobs. From spare keys to people locking their keys in the boot.

The Friday was just as busy, seeing me complete another 8 jobs, mainly domestic. I did manage to get a nice weekend away in Wales though 😊 it was HOT! Thankfully there was a lovely sea breeze when we were on the beach so the sun wasn’t too bad.

Back yesterday and as soon as I got home, I hopped in the van and did another 4 jobs. A lock swap for end of tenancy, opened a jammed door in Ludlow and replaced a failed mech, spare car key and opened a jammed ERA night latch!

Lets hope everything calms down a bit and the heat drops off a little.
