Back to our roots today 🌲💪
After a few days up in the MEWP, it was time to get the harnesses back on and return to traditional climbing to carefully dismantle this conifer. Nothing beats getting up close and working through a tree the old-school way.
As always, safety and responsibility come first — we carried out a full inspection before starting to make sure there were no active nesting birds. Protecting wildlife is just as important as getting the job done right 🐦✅

Great couple of days working for a local district council 🌳
We carried out a reduction on a line of 16 poplars following a recent survey that highlighted signs of decline and potential vulnerability to fungal activity. The trees were carefully reduced to 12m, with all deadwood removed to help improve safety.
Always good to be proactive when it comes to tree health and public safety 💪🌿
Finished off with a couple of iced lattes to keep us going ☕️❄️

Fun in the sun yesterday making safer some Ash trees with Ash dieback and a few Inonotus hispidus bracket fungi. The MEWP allows us to work independently of these dangerous trees and is a much easier days work for our bodies.

Storm Claudia kept us busy right through the night last night.. lots of floods also that kept diverting us as we tried to navigate round the county keeping the roads open.

Thanks to all the team players for all the hard work in the driving rain.

Servicing the 25 metre MEWP (mobile elevated work platform) today.. turned out to be a bit of a task.. taking 5 hours but she’s as good as new now.. ready for a busy week next week.
