Restore North Italy Cathedral

✅Seal the architectural feature. Once the missing parts have been reconstructed, the architectural feature should be sealed with a water-based impregnator sealant.

Ceramic tiles cleaning and sealing in Guilford

✅Prepare the area. Remove any furniture or objects from the area where you will be cleaning the tiles. Sweep or vacuum the tiles to remove any loose dirt or debris.
✅Clean the tiles. Mix a solution of 1 part tile cleaner to 3 parts water. Apply the solution to the tiles with a sponge or mop. Scrub the tiles in a circular motion. Rinse the tiles with clean water.
✅Apply the sealant. Pour the sealant into a spray bottle. Apply the sealant evenly over the tiles using a sponge applicator. Allow the sealant to dry completely then buff each tile.

Maintenance tips:
👉Use a mild tile cleaner
👉Harsh cleaners can damage the tiles
👉Do not use abrasive scrubbers
👉These can scratch the tiles
👉Rinse the tiles thoroughly after cleaning

✅The surfaces has been polished to silky finish and sealed with impregnator sealant.

👉Maintenance tip: even though the limestone surface has been polished and sealed, it is a good idea to periodically reseal the surface to maintain its protective properties.

✅Services include the restoration of 2,500 square meters of white terrazzo floor in one of the most recognisable commercial area in a Shopping mall, Central London.
✅The floor was ground down by an average of three millimeters so that it could be leveled, and then it was polished with resin-bonded diamonds until they had a smooth surface.
✅In order to be in compliance with the Slip Test requirement that applies to the public areas, the floor was impregnated and sealed with a solvent-based impregnator sealant.

👉Duration: despite the fact that we have a large machine that is capable of delivering approximately 200 m2 per shift, we were only allowed to use machinery that operates on 110 V. Despite this restriction, we were able to successfully finish the job in a period of time that was shorter than 8 weeks, despite the difficulty of the work.

👉Maintenance: this will be done on a yearly basis (due to the heavy traffic), and it will consist of thoroughly cleaning the floor and topping off the sealant with a new coat of sealant.

🌎Location: Nothing Hill area

👉Surface: Sandstone/ Portland stone
Area: Staircase including turning landing on grade 2 listed building


👉Services: We removed 3-4 layers of the paint from the stone. Most of the job has dry executed/ grinding/polishing. We have an advantage in technology in capture and collect dust.


👉To remove the paint, we had used a titanium-based metal disc. Titanium is a perfect material for the job due to its character in working well on high temperatures and less clogged with paint or glue.


👉The stone has been polished to matt shine and a non-slip finish in order to pass the industry's standard (applicable to public buildings). In addition, the staircase steps have been treated with an impregnator water-based sealant in order to gain water resistance.
