Great project to be involved with in Trinity at the start of the year. Garden was tired and plants overgrown along with the grass levels all over the place.

Removal of the old shrubs and bushes for recycling. Replaced with a whole host of new plants by Charlotte the gardener. Some lovely pleached Carpinus Betulus planted too against our new trellis.

450m2 of new lawn laid, supplied by Harrowden Scotland, along with 28ton of fresh topsoil to sort out the levels.

And of course the lovely Nustone sawn mint sandstone slabs laid along with the 40mm bullnose steps and corner pieces. Aggregates,soil and blocks etc sorted out by St Andrews Timber and Building Supplies Ltd

Another job in Calderwood over the line today. Whole back garden renovation. We levelled the garden up to the back doors with the porcelain and astro, and installed a drainage channel. 3mx4m Hygge pergola along with the sleepers and larch fence. Neat little lean- to against the house for dry storage!!

1200x600 Sunstone Loki supplied by Royale Stones. Pergola install with 3 slide down sides, louvered opening roof and led lights by Hygge Pergola . Raised sleeper planters, timber supplied from Fitz Timber Supplies LTD. The larch and all aggregates from St Andrews Timber and Building Supplies Ltd.

Great project to be part of from the customers ideas to completion.

Great space created in Winchburgh this summer. Garden was on a slope, so we made up 3 levels of usable terraces.

Kandla grey porcelain, astro and gravel. Along with the off white render for the planters.

Customer now has it planted up and looking even better.

Job from last summer completed in Calderwood.

Here we removed the tired astro and decking and replaced with some lovely Harrowden Scotland turf along with 900x600 Boule Terrazzo porcelain supplied from Royale Stones.

Also installed the 3mx3m aluminium gazebo with twin drop down sides from White Stores around the hot tub.

All other materials supplied from the ever helpful St Andrews Timber and Building Supplies Ltd

Soooo, here is my own garden. This is the fourth summer since we completed it. Just never got round to posting it.

Using Royale Stones Sunstone Freya 1200x600 porcelain paving, we created a warm reception area for party's and barbecues.

Seating area was formed with Tobermore retro blocks. We used the same for our driveway, so we have some consistency between the front and back of house. I used a simple charcoal tegula blocks for the border and mile kerbs to form the steps along with Keith blue gravel.

The pergola I had built maybe 3 or 4 years before that, it just need a lick of paint. We painted the panel fencing black and used Siberian larch to clad the back of the garden. All other material supplied by our friends St Andrews Timber and Building Supplies Ltd .

All the plants have been saved from customers gardens before being recycled in our borders.

The garden is south/west facing so gets a lot of the sun. Also attracts a lot of wildlife, birds and bees etc.

It's a great space to relax with a Peroni or nice bottle of red with friends and family 🍻🙏

Another garden over the line in Calderwood this week. Using Harvest buff sandstone we created some lovely split level entertaining areas along with a new, flat grass area for playing on and a raised planter for growing some carrots and tatties. Using the old slabs we made space for a new shed aswell.

Pic heavy with this post. Whole front garden for friends of the family in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, for all of October. The customer had an idea of how they wanted some kerb appeal and we delivered.

Double driveway on one side with a single on the other for some great off road parking. Steps formed with access at the front of house from pavement and both sides for the driveways.

New fence on both boundaries as well, finished on both sides with timber slats. Recycled stone retaining wall installed using original wall. We demolished the old wall, cleaned and reused. Honed sandstone copes for the wall too!!

Driveways are Tobermore Manhattan 600x150mm blocks in 3 shades, supplied by St Andrews Timber and Building Supplies Ltd along with the sand, cement, ballast etc. Slate is supplied by NBC, Natural by Choice , timber was supplied by Fitz Timber Supplies and copes from London Stone. Waste and hard-core taken care of by Brewster Brothers.

Planting taking place in spring time.

Lovely job finished in Livingston Village. Paved using Royal Stones 1200x600 porcelain Sunstone Freya. Great 20mm thick, Italian made slab. Good to cut and great to install. Access into new dwelling was wheelchair friendly.

Lots of cutting on the 1200mm porcelain. The Rubi made it easy!! Fantastic help from Kerr and Dylan.

Great space created in South Queensferry this month. Lifted the tired old paving and replaced with Talasey Riva Bellezza buff in 900x600. New drainage installed along with some nice fresh grass.
