This weekend's orders have now been packed and are ready to head out to their new homes! 🎂📮

Well... almost all of them. 😅 I've strategically left two parcels for tomorrow so I can pretend I'm still being productive while technically already on holiday! 🌴☀️

I also realised I've completely forgotten to take photos of one of this weekend's bigger projects because it was a local collection and disappeared before I had the chance! 🤦‍♀️😂

This weekend I was also busy preparing for a wedding, where I didn't just create the cake decorations — I was also asked to create the wedding favours for the guests. 💕✨

These weren't traditional wedding favours. They had a luxury, jewellery-inspired feel and were designed to become a lasting keepsake for each guest. Rather than being something that's enjoyed once and forgotten, they were created to be taken home, treasured and personalised over time, allowing each guest to make them uniquely their own. 💎🤍

I know I probably say that about every new decoration set, but this one really is up there with my favourites. I've always wanted to offer something a little more special for farm-themed cakes, and I absolutely loved seeing all the little details come together – the tractor, barn, farmer, pumpkin and harvest vegetables. 🌽🎃

There's just something about farm cakes that feels fun, colourful and full of character, and I think these decorations bring that theme to life beautifully. 💚

Safe to say this was a VERY busy weekend… and Monday started exactly the same 📦😂

I’ve spent the day surrounded by boxes, labels, edible prints and packaging tape while trying to remember if I actually drank my coffee or just carried it around all morning ☕

At one point I realised my “breakfast” was at nearly 2pm… so thank you all very much for clearly wanting to keep me fit for summer 🤣🤍

Honestly though, I’m incredibly grateful for every single order. Seeing Makai Cake Decorating Supplies getting busier still feels surreal sometimes 🥹✨
