So grateful for all the memories we made as a family in 2025 🤍✈️

Travelling together means everything to me, especially as the kids get older and I’m so aware these years feel precious.

I feel incredibly lucky to have a travel business that lets me book our own holidays at great prices and earn the commission back. For us, it’s been a complete no-brainer.

My home isn’t Instagram perfect right now, and that’s ok!

The dining table is still covered in Christmas decorations because I’m waiting for Mart to get the boxes down from the loft!🙈

The Christmas tree is still up… same reason.😂

The lounge floor is full of Lucy’s GCSE art coursework because she’s got a deadline this week, and I’d rather she feel comfortable doing it here with us than stressed in her room.

And the sofa? That’s currently holding clean washing, waiting patiently for the fairy who takes it upstairs. 🧺

I used to get really stressed about things like this.
I’d tell myself I was lazy, failing, not coping properly.

But after a run of health issues over the last year, things started to change, some days I physically couldn’t keep up and I realised how much pressure I’d been carrying without questioning it.

I’m slowly feeling more like myself again now, but I’m not in a rush to go back to how things were.

If the last nine months have taught me anything, it’s that constant pressure and stress come at a cost.
So I’ve made peace with things not being perfect.
Health will always comes before perfection…..

Spend a cold, crisp Monday with me!

I’m trying to be more intentional about how I live after a bit of a tough 2025, reducing stress where I can, moving a little more, eating well, and creating routines that actually support me. Nothing dramatic. Just small, steady changes.

✨ Under-stairs cupboard… conquered!

It had become the usual dumping ground — shoes, coats, bags, everything 😂

I’m feeling so behind with Christmas this year, but I just can’t put the decorations up until the house feels clean and decluttered. Otherwise it honestly stresses me out.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has to reset the house before the festive magic begins? 🎄

One job done, on to the next 🙈

Luce has her mock exams next week and she’s been working so hard 💪📚
I feel a little bit helpless and there’s not much I can do except to listen and try and support her, so I thought I’d put together a little revision & exam care package to make her study time (and downtime) a bit nicer 💕

Yesterday when the rain and wind howled outside. Lucy decided to set up our hot chocolate station, just in time for cosy season ☕🍫
