Di - Had a sunny afternoon walk round the Four Oaks Estate and captured some of Qube Design's past projects looking fabulous now mature, realised there are many more so hope to have the opportunity to walk that way again. At the start of our project we knew Nigel Collingswood as Nigel. By the end we knew him as ‘No Problem Nigel’. There is no such thing as a straightforward project, particularly when you are trying to modernise the first floor flat of a beautiful old Regency house. One unexpected issue after another turned up, some small some not so small. After explaining them to us, Nigel would always end by saying ‘No problem’. Believe me, those are the two most welcome words in the English language.

Nigel is a brilliant architect, that goes without saying. Just as important to us, no matter how busy he is on other projects, he is always available on the end of the phone. If you have to leave a message, you know he will be back to you as soon as is humanly possible. Journalists have a motto: ‘They never ring back.’ Nigel does, and the call invariably ends with the words ‘No problem’.

My wife and I fell in love with Dartmouth, and we fell in love with our flat when it was tired and neglected. Nigel has given us our dream home. No problem.
