IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATE from Director Rory Burdett Hammonds
It is with great sadness that I write this, but due to a change in circumstances, Climbatize Ltd will be closing down.
We will be carrying out work up until August 11th and will not be carrying out any more work after this date. The company will still be active in order to collect/pay out any monies owed. If your work is booked in, this will still be going ahead. If you have recently accepted a quote, we will be in contact with you to see if we can fit your work in, prior to closing. Apologies to anyone that we haven't managed to get back to on the phone or email over the last few weeks whilst some important decisions were being made.
I would like to start by thanking all of our clients over the years for your work. Thank you for placing your trust in us, for all the glowing reviews and recommendations. We have worked for some fantastic clients over the years for both residential and commercial, many of which have been repeat customers and without this work, there wouldn't have been a business at all. I can only apologise if closing down will affect you in any way.
Secondly I would like to say a massive thank you to my staff members, particularly our core staff: Dave, Loz, Paddy and Michael as well as our regular climbers, some of whom have been with us for years! Our guys always turn up early in the morning come rain or shine, they have put their heart and soul into the business, always working hard and always making sure that the jobs are carried out to the high standard expected by our clients. A huge thank you to Yasmin who has been our accounts/admin manager, she has always made sure the company has been organised, ran the accounts and has just generally been a fantastic help within the business. We wouldn't have become the company we are today, without her help. The climbatize team has been like a big family over the years and it will be sadly missed.
I was hoping that the business could be sold and our services could continue, we had a few interested parties, but they all backed out due to their own personal/business reasons. So unfortunately the only solution is to close down now. I feel that it is a real shame as the company has been successful in many aspects, I have just come to the end of my journey and it's time for a change. Year on year the company has grown with turnover/staff members/equipment/vehicles numbers increasing, we have worked for some very notable clients including: National developers, councils, various private businesses, as well as the thousands of residential homeowners. To top it all off Climbatize has remained profitable, even through the recent financial climate.
Finally I would just like to say another big thank you to anyone who has been involved in the business over the years: suppliers, mechanics, landlords, business advisors and even friends that have helped out. I have been lucky to have such an amazing network of people that I could rely on and trust.
