As we wind down on our last day we have a few Thank you's to say!
We would like to thank all our lads who have worked so hard all year, attending our customers gardens, making them look prestine and making us so proud! You are all amazing!
We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly all year round to teach our lads the skills and knowledge to make them more independent every day!
We would like to thank all our customers that give our lads to chance to put their skills to work and spread the good word about how fabulous they are.
We would like to thank all the organisations that have funded us for various reasons throughout the year. You have hepled make us the great success we are!
We are open again on Tuesday 2nd January 2025.
So from everyone here at Cherry Orchard Garden Services CIC we hope you have an absolutely fabulous Christmas and New Year, and we will see you all in January to do it all again!! 🥰😍🥳

We would like to thank all the parents & carers that came to support our learners yesterday afternoon at our annual award giving ceremony celebrating all the maths, english and IT skills they have learnt over the last year!
We are extremely proud of everyone and what they've achieved and we look forward to continue watching them thrive!
The courses are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and The Access Foundation.
Photo's of individuals will be sent to parents/carers over the next few days, and also added to our website.

COGS Prepares 4 Life CIO

"Nestled in the Burntwood countryside, situated just off the A5190 between Lichfield and Cannock, Cherry Orchard Garden Services CIC (COGS) provides quality care for people with learning disabilities.
We believe everyone should have an active and positive role in their community. Through work based learning, our members gain new skills, find friendships, and embrace the confidence and independence needed for everyday life in a safe environment with experienced staff. These skills are then put to good use by offering an excellent gardening service for the frail and elderly residents of Burntwood.
We also work in partnership with COGS Prepares 4 Life CIO on the same site, meaning we can offer a wide range of activities including gardening, woodwork, cooking, independent living skills, travel training, arts & crafts and machine maintenance. Our greatest achievement so far has been implementing a new classroom with a speciality tutor who teaches maths, English and ICT classes. This is so successful that we now have an annual award ceremony in December to give out the many certificates our learners have achieved to celebrate their success!!"
