This bowl is a Victorian sterling silver piece manufactured in Sheffield, England, by the renowned silversmiths James Deakin & Sons in 1896. The hallmarks visible on the side of the bowl confirm its origin and quality. We have left this in unpolished condition. The hallmarks are still visible and crisp.

This is a victorian mahogany and leather library armchair.upholstered in a deep-buttoned tan leather with pleated detailing and padded upholstered arm pads. Crafted from a solid mahogany frame with distinct gracefully scrolled arms ending in elegant carved volutes (C-scrolls). The front legs are turned and carved, with original brass cup castors to easily move around a study or gentleman’s library room.

This artwork is a framed, limited-edition print titled "Bird's Eye View of Hong Kong" by the renowned Hong Kong artist ⁠Chan Kau On (born 1946).

About the ArtworkArtist: ⁠Chan Kau On (陳球安), a prominent figure in the Hong Kong art scene and former Chairman of the Sketching and Painting Unit of the Hong Kong Artists' Association.

Subject: A vibrant, highly detailed watercolor cityscape depicting a sweeping bird's-eye perspective of Victoria Harbour, traditional junk boats, and the dense skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Notable architectural anchors include the distinct triangular facade of the Bank of China Tower.

Edition Details: The piece features a hand-written pencil inscription on the bottom border. The numbering 113 / 1500 indicates this is print number 113 out of a limited production run of 1,500 prints. The artist's distinctive signature is hand-signed in pencil on the right.
