Bosworths Landscaping is an expanding area of the Bosworths group offering Garden Maintenance Services and Landscape Construction to domestic and commercial clients.

We are looking for an Apprentice Grounds Maintenance Operative, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to learn the trade on the job.

We are looking for candidates who are able to undertake physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be working in a close and supportive team offering a friendly and helpful service to our clients, so the ability to communicate in a clear and positive manner is essential.

PPE is provided, the hours of work are dependent on the season and are from Monday to Friday.
Rates of pay will be in line with national minimum wage while training.

So today (20th March) is the Vernal Equinox - Equinox meaning equal night. Its good news for the gardeners out there as this means the daylight hours get longer = more time on the garden especially if you are working during the day!
There is also an urban myth that states on the equinox you can balance and egg on its end!!! Give it a go and comment if you were able to do it. We have just given it a go - won't give away our results but it ended in a bucket and mop being required!!!
