Kiln dried firewood with a moisture content lower than 20% burns more efficiently and hotter than conventional logs. If the moisture content is higher than 20% you are effectively trying to convert the water in the logs into energy- which doesn’t work, putting tar deposits up your chimney, & which is also bad for local air quality.
Our logs are delivered with a guaranteed moisture content between of 10-20%. They are locally sourced, locally cut & dried, and are Woodsure certified and assured.

Don’t get snowed in this winter - It’s time to get your logs in ❄️!!
After a recent search in our area, we have found that for 1.2cubic metres of quality kiln dried firewood, we are one of most competitively priced kiln dried firewood merchants in West Suffolk.
Not burnt kiln dried wood before? Our customers say that kiln dried firewood lasts longer than air dried wood, it burns hotter & is easier to light. Clients with open fires also tell us that after they have burnt a few logs, it produces glowing hot embers which stay in and don’t require topping up with more logs at the end of the evening.
