This was last week! Today I got in the van and it showed 46.5 degrees and on the way home the road started melting! 🥵🥵🥵

Luckily we had a nice woodland garden to work in today although we did have to plan out a very large bed which was in the full sun and then had to pop round to another one of our lovely customers’ who was away to water their very thirsty vegetables, if they’re prizewinners we’re taking some of the credit!!

I hope you’re all cooling down a bit now, I think it’s going to be a little more bearable tomorrow ☀️☀️☀️☀️🌱🌱

Over the last few weeks we’ve helped some of our lovely customers clean out their nest boxes from last year. If you’ve not done yours yet be very quick!!! We’re seeing signs of birds checking out nest boxes and even some nest building going on right now around HQ.

With at least a week of mild weather ahead of us those birdies will all be kicking into action! All you need to do is empty out last years nest boxes and give the inside a bit of a tidy. I tend not to use chemicals to clean boxes but utilise a quick blast with a w**d burner which does the job without leaving any chemicals behind. Do also wear gloves and if you’re cleaning the box in-situ when your face might be close to the box, it’s best to wear a face mask, you don’t want a face full of mites and bugs whilst you’re up a ladder!

Keep your eyes peeled for new tenants!
