My plastic woven rattan garden bench only lasted 5yrs as the plastic became very brittle and snapped when sitting on it....

My plastic woven rattan garden bench only lasted 5yrs as the plastic became very brittle and snapped when sitting on it.
So i stripped off all the plastic, and there was miles of it, leaving just the metal sub frame.
I bought 2x1 treated battons from a timber yard and set too creating my new bench. The cushions from the original furniture will still fit perfectly.....and this is the result. Cost £70 for timber and a days fun making it.
