We have had the immense privilege to help multiple companies install their Fire Alarm and Security systems but, Monday marked the start date of our very first installation. Nice installation of a new fire alarm system and access control / intercom for 6 apartments. With a bonus of it only being 2 miles from my house! 2nd fixing due in the New Year. We will always continue to assist with Fire & Security requirements for other companies, but there's something special when you do one for yourself. With an added bonus of the same customer adding service contracts for 12 sites, maintaining fire alarms, emergency lights and AOV's. An excellent end to the year.

This afternoon I have had the privilege to be asked to attend my children's school, to help with my daughters year 4 science lesson, which was all about alarm circuits. Helping them build basic alarm circuits using AA and 9v batteries, switches, bulbs and buzzers. They all did an amazing job! And ending the lesson with a Q&A session and giving a talk on the dangers of electricity and how their fire alarm works. With one of the cheeky monkeys asking how much I get paid! haha. Loved every minute of it! missed my calling, should have been a teacher. Thank you to my lovely wife Catherine for volunteering my time 😊

Nice trip down to Brighton last week to carry out fire alarm modifications and fault rectifications. Not a nice drive back on Friday night, taking 7 hours to get back. But made the better with the customer saying " you can come back again, you were great thank you".
