Bottlebrush is absolutely buzzing with bees today

The bright red flowers are packed with nectar, making them a favourite stop for bees and other pollinators. One of those plants that’s not only beautiful to look at but also does a great job supporting wildlife in the garden!

A really enjoyable day today exploring how local outdoor spaces can help Year 5/6 children thrive.

We talked about everything from wellbeing and confidence to creativity, curiosity and problem-solving. It’s amazing how much learning can happen when children are given the chance to connect with nature and explore the world around them.

With biodiversity under pressure, creating opportunities for children to experience and care about the natural world has never felt more important.

Newts love the bits of the garden we often ignore. leaf piles, stacks of pots, timber piles and other messy corners.

Before clearing or digging, have a quick look underneath and around anything you’re moving. A few extra seconds can help avoid accidentally harming these important garden residents.
I know they’re not everyone cup of tea but I adore them!!
There are allot about at the@moment so be careful
