This is Jayson Bales. He is selling pints of beer for £3 - because he wants people to enjoy going to the pub again 🍻👏
Jayson runs the Tin Mill pub in Cardiff. “People don't go to the pub anymore because it is too expensive,” he said. “Most of my mates, when they’d finish work, we would all sit at the bar and have three or four pints before we would go home.
"That was when three or four pints were 12 quid. You have three or four pints now - thirty quid... You can’t afford to do it.”
So, Jayson decided to take matters into his own hands.
He lowered the prices of his pints to three quid - in a bid to keep his pub alive. “It is an old traditional boozer where you come in have a chat with your mates... It is whatever they want their pub to be, I am just here to sell beer.”
