This lovely new seating area nestled at the end of my clients garden looks as good in the day as it does an night. I used FINCH Composite Decking in Anthracite with Venetian screening from haven_timber. I added two uplighter/downlighters into the clients existing lighting system. All other timbers and hardware came from Chalford Building Suppliesđź‘Ť

Just had a big clean up on this Beauty! A fantastic collaboration between us and Westside Fabrications this solid piece of engineering is not going anywhere! The Millboard Enhanced grain Jarrah decking suits the environment perfectly. The powder coated Balustrade’s keep people safe and the lockable gates keep the dog from wandering off. The glass balustrade on the main deck provide a window to the garden below. I like the floating staircase❤️

In my humble opinion if you are going to have a retaining wall built then do not rely on wood alone! Here I have reused the oak sleepers recycled from the original wall. I added Galvanised RSJ’s to the mix making sure 600mm is in the ground and 125kg of concrete holds fast each RSJ. There is 2.5 tons of gravel behind the wall to improve drainage and a perforated drain pipe to aid better water displacement! The rear of the sleepers is also covered in DPC. Smarter solutions for smarter customers👍

A flying visit to site today to see some huge steels going in!! This project is coming to life after tons of planning. With its complexity I needed to involve the guys from westsidefabricationsltd_ boy oh boy do they know their stuff! This balcony stairs and walkway will last forever! The little Sausage dog wasn’t keen on the first ramp I built so I took a little time to make it lower and safer……..will she start to use it? millboard_decking. Sausage dogs can suffer from back problems so it’s advisable to get a ramp instead of steps👍👍

A tidy little 5x5 roof balcony. The Burnt Cedar from is sat on a recycled plastic frame on a cradle system with acoustic pads. Door cills that were too low for the conventional installation led to some ingenuity to overcome. The Burnt Cedar cladding finishes of the space nicely. All lit using decking lights❤️
