Every summer we offer work experience to two students from local schools, year 10's through to year 13's. We believe this an important contribution to the community. The experience enables students who are thinking of a career in architecture to see what an Architect might be doing on a day to day basis. Important when you consider how long it takes to qualify, 7 years.
Students do site surveys, design and make models, try their hand at the software AutoCad and Sketchup plus visit sites we have under construction. Last year a former work experience student graduated as a part 1, the 1st stage in her career.

The practice is pleased to announce both Anastasija and Alex, who joined us in 2020, are now qualified Architects.
Studying together for their Part 111 with the Welsh School of Architecture proved beneficial, they say.
Both are great assets to the team.
Alex delayed taking his exam slightly due to a family illness but it was great to hear the results just before Christmas, so now they both have their ARB certificates.

NP Architects has completed its first Chariots of Fire race, a well known event in Cambridge, achieving a respectable 117th position out of the 281 teams taking part this year. The event had been postponed from the autumn due to the sad death of the Queen. It was great we could put together a team this year and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the run round the famous college buildings. Nick, our principal, achieved the best time of just over 12 minutes in the 3K run. Charles Ko, our Bath University sandwich student recorded the days events.
Any of our supporters who would like to give to the local charity Arthur Rank Hospice can still donate to our Justgiving page https://t.co/uaXuOPD7bu
