St Mary’s Church, Buckden where we have just begun to restore the vestry, a previous church council had thought it a good idea to use stone from the vestry to repair other parts of the building leaving the current church council with a large repair bill now, we will be reinstating all the stone detail courses, one false window, parapet wall and providing a new stainless steel roof covering/gutters and drainage system.

A ruined arch at the Church of St Etheldreda, Reach, that we have conserved and restored mostly using the original stone that had fallen down. We incorporated local hand made clay peg tiles to create natural weatherings and coated it in a sacrificial shelter coat to preserve the clunch stone.
This work should extend the life of the arch
For many years, if it hadn’t been carried out the arch would have completely collapsed shortly.

Another phase at Reed Church we recently completed, new tracery and voissoir arch stones to the tower west window, new glazing and stone repairs to the south nave windows,re-pointing and flint repairs to the south nave wall, and south porch including a replacement cross, conservation repairs and shelter coat to the east chancel window.
