Finally here are some finished shots from a massive family room we have been working on.
After a tireless amount of prep work and filling we managed to transform this family area and I can’t wait to get some proper finished shots once it’s fully furnished and the fire is installed.
All finished in colours, using the super rich baked cherry for the walls and skirts to give this room a real warming feel, paired with Portland stone pale and light. We sprayed 3 x coats on all the woodwork to build a solid layer before applying the last with the laying off brushes to just give it that elegant light brush finish.
We are really proud of this one and the customers are over the moon as well 🙌🏽🙌🏽. Expect more pics in the future.

Check out the amazing landing and stairs of the recent central Cambridge project.
This is the first and top floor of the house, the ground floor deserves its own post!
Staircase brilliantly made by and spray finished by us.
Walls all finished in estate emulsion in all white.
What a grand stair area!
Credits go to .plastering for managing to plaster the curve so well. And for creating such a nice build.

A little built in wardrobe respray recently completed

14/09/2021

We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our small team full time. With lots of up coming projects taking us all the way through the winter we are ready to add another member to the work force.
Working on some million pound new projects for high end customers/builders in some incredible houses. Also working on very traditional aspects of decorating as well. A lot of the work is something to be proud of.
We are only a small team but take on some big jobs so you will need to be able to work in a team and knuckle in together. All work is completed together and to the systems of how we work.
We do a lot of spray finishes and that's what a lot of the projects require. Mostly completed with airless sprayers so knowledge of this will be a bonus. I will personally teach you this technique though so it is not necessary, also I will get you City & Guilds qualified in this area.
The candidate will need to be comfortable with prep work as we don't just say "that will do" the prep needs to be done to the standard required.
We also cover Kitchen/furniture resprays. Also wallpapering, and as said previously traditional properties that require a lot of attention.
I'm not expecting you to be able to do everything and I am happy to train you where needed, all I ask is you are prepared to learn and have a great attitude for work and the drive to achieve a great finish.

My ideal candidate would be someone relatively young, maybe recently NVQ qualified and looking to make the next step in decorating.
Ideally I would be looking for someone qualified but good experience is also a possibility.
I would like you to be quite enthusiastic to achieve great finishes and have a drive to achieve this.
I need you be trustworthy and reliable, also happy to work as a team.
Open to new techniques and new products as we are constantly trying new things.

Company Van will be supplied to the right candidate.
20 days holiday + bank holidays.
PAYE and paid every 2 weeks
Pension scheme
Excellent rates of pay. These will depend on experience.
Most jobs will be worked so if we can get them done in good time, bonuses will be split between the team based on the profit from the project.
All work is based in and around Cambridge.
Driving licence would be required.

Not against Self employed applicants as well but would prefer employment.
Also not against someone older with experience but on previous experiences it hasn't gone brilliantly because we do decorate very differently to the traditional methods.

This is a long term job and you chance to be part of a fast growing business working on some truly incredible properties.

Apply either through here or send CV to [email protected]

Check out the before/after shots of this hallway transformation we recently completed.
Painted in slaked lime and slaked lime deep. All woodwork and panelling was sprayed finished with the trusty Tritech. It has brightened this staircase right up.
There was so much work on this job as it had been painted terribly last time, the woodwork was left in such a horrible roller finish and no sandpaper must have been used! But the dust free sanders made light work of it and created a lovely flat base for the primers. Lots of work but what an improvement and some happy customers.

Some before and after shots from a kitchen re-spray recently finished.
It’s completely changed this kitchen and brightened it up so much! It was very dirty and greasy before but now it’s as good as new.
The new colour is F&B Mizzle with a 15% sheen. All sprayed with the tritech.
The clients went away which was great as they were completely gobsmacked on return and couldn’t believe how good it looked!

Last few shots from this exterior.
We changed these old wood stained windows to a much more appealing colour from Tikkurila called Chalk.
Lots of worked was needed on these windows though, all the opening ones got removed, brackets off, finished the refitted so no brown showed when open. Also plenty of resin repair needed on the sills and the door. Combining with just the sheer work it is to change from wood stain, but it came up great.
Paints used - Haftprimer for the adhesion and coverage. Valtti opaque for the finish and durability. Zinsser all coat for the black. .uk

First post on ages!! Lots to share now though!!
This is the front door from a recent exterior project we have recently completed!
Before and after pictures and a bit of the process as you scroll.
Had an absolute nightmare with weather on this one so it ended up taking a fair bit longer than anticipated but the result was still great.
We changed the existing woodstained windows to a much more visually appealing colour and also changed the front door colour.
Sprayed using the Qtech Q5 and finished in colours from the feel for colour range. The windows are Chalk F484 and the door is Nephrite N494. They go lovely with the red brick and have lightened the exterior of this house no end!
More pictures to come!

This was a bedroom revamp from a month ago. scroll for before and after pics. This was quite a massive transformation actually. Spraying the old built in wardrobes and chest of drawers in 1952 really gave them a new life, along with removing the feature wall and finishing in a slightly lighter tikki colour 1944 this room looks completely different. From dated to modern all in a few days. Now they’re just awaiting the carpet to really finish it off. Everything was spray finish using a combination of and and with T5, most areas were skim filled with fill & finish.
