At Soul Space, we've noticed something over the last year or so - more and more conversations are starting with the land, not the cabin.

People aren't necessarily looking to build a large holiday park. They're looking at a corner of a field, an unused paddock or a piece of land that isn't really doing anything and asking a simple question:

"Could this generate an income?"

Often, all it takes is one well positioned accommodation cabin in a Kent field, set in the right location and built with the right purpose in mind.

We had such a good time at the show last year that it was an easy decision to return.

The development of our new construction method is coming along exceptionally well.

Our normal cabin range features 90mm celotex insulation that keeps your timber garden room warm in the winter and cool in the summer. However, since we don’t need that here, we have been able to cut down the overall weight of the structure, even when fully assembled.

Because of this, we are looking to develop a full outdoor bathroom, complete with shower or bath, toilet, and a handwashing basin. We would also be looking to put these structures on wheels, allowing them to be easily moved. At the moment, a forklift is more than capable of moving the structure around with ease.

A structure like this would be ideal for any newly started and already established glamping site, especially those started under a Natural England Exemption Certificate scheme. Due to the way the exemption certificates work, you often have to prove your site can be removed in 24-48 hours and leave no permanent changes to the site.
