🎄✨ Wrapping up the year with gratitude ✨🎄

A year of wins, lessons, and growth - both personally and within my painting & decorating business.

Alongside work, I’ve also been focusing on myself in the gym and I’m proud to have lost over 10kg (1.5 stone) this year all thanks to i couldn’t thank you enough ❤️‍🔥

I’ve also completed my Dulux spray course, meaning I’ll be offering spraying services in the new year 🎨

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me this year - in work and in life.

Last week had the pleasure of working on a lovely home which i will be going back to in the new year to do more in!

Walls had a refresh, Kitchen, Hallway & Living room all went into Scuff-X Eggshell (Colour- White Dove) 🤩

This week has honestly been a rollercoaster 😅 here’s a little run down no one asked for ! ☺️

Monday – started a new job, only to find out I had to peel every bit of paint off the walls because the plaster hadn’t been treated or mist coated 🙃

Tuesday – more paint peeling and prep work… but managed to get to the gym in the evening 💪

Wednesday – finally got all the walls treated with Zinsser Gardz (thank god!) plus loads of filling and prep done ✅

Thursday – bad start… fell over before work 😩 thought nothing of it at first, but the aches started creeping in later.

Friday – got the woodwork first coated, then had to nip out for a jab at the doctors, before heading back to finish up.

Saturday – woke up in awful pain with my back/shoulders but still picked up gloss as the customer asked for a change from satin. Popped into the gym since it was right across the road and thought I’d power through. Later that evening the customer decided to stick with satin instead 😅 — better to get it exactly how they want it!

Sunday (today) – in the worst pain yet. My back feels like every bone needs to click, it hurts to breathe, cough, sneeze, everything. Currently sat with a hot water bottle doing absolutely nothing for it, and I’ve still got to drive to Slough tonight 🫠

Safe to say… I’m knackered! How’s your week been? Hopefully less chaotic than mine 🤞 Send Care Package (including new back pls 🥲)
