I am Cardiff based and carry out Full Bathroom Installation from start to finish. I have recently relocated to North Cardiff and am hoping to establish my business in South Wales after having great success in the Bath area for 7 years. I am a one man band specialising in Bathroom renovations, and I carry out the complete job start to finish. I carry out aspects of bathroom remodelling including all tiling. Bath removed to make way for a full length shower tray, toilet and basin relocated to create more functional space as having the toilet and basin on the back wall is jut too tight 😵‍💫

First job of the year over the line (I had most of January off on Paternity leave)

You wouldn’t believe it was the same room!

Knocking down the partition wall to open up the space made a world of difference and allowed for more light, more space and a different layout. It did mean however digging down to meet the old clay soil pipe and adapting it to re-locate the toilet slightly 🥵

All re-boarded, primed and tanked and untiled areas skimmed. Perfect prep means perfect finish 👌

Floor Tiles - Carnaby Pink Patterned Tile 20x20 Porcelain from finished with mist grey grout

Shower Tiles - Dwell Cobolt Porcelain Tile 60x240 finished with cement grey grout also from Porcelain Superstore

Wall Tiles - Safi Seashell Gloss 100x100 from finished with white grout

What a way to finish off the year with this stunning wetroom completed in Rogerstone for my good friend’s 🤝

A massive improvement with the space managing to reduce the size of the storage cupboard on the landing to allow for a shower area as well as a bath tub, specifically a wetroom 👌

Once the walls were completely renewed and plumbing renewed, i installed a full jackoboard floor and wetroom tray install combined with Warmup DCM Pro electric underfloor heating 🔥

Fully tiled with “Essen Bone” 600x600 Porcelan tiles

Fully grouted with “Stone” Epoxy Grout

Shower Feature wall tiled with “Litton” Moon White 50x450 Porcelain tiles from

Toilet and basin both relocated and wall hung installed. Freestanding bath tub and brushed brass wall mounted bath and basin taps fitted ✨

Custom niches installed with mitred edges and lighting 💡

Concealed Shower Valve with Shower Head and hand held wand, wetroom glass screen with additional rotatable end panel, all brushed brass fixtures and fittings 😎

All finished 1 week before their new arrival is due 👶 we love a deadline 😅

Another one wrapped up in this chaotic pre-Christmas rush

3 layers of wall tiles hacked off and a tiled ceiling pulled down I knew this one was going to have it in for me 🥵

Floor level shower tray meant for some excavation to the underground, fitting in an additional tee and pipework to allow for a floor level shower tray 👌We absolutely dislike raised shower trays btw unless literally no other options

Floor levelled, boarded and Warmup Electric Underfloor Heating installed (because I’m accredited by them 😏)

Walls & Floor tiled with “Roselle” Beige Porcelain 600x600 Tiles

“Stone” Epoxy grout from 👌

Concealed Thermostatic Shower Mounted (in solid brick wall may I add 💪)

⭐ BRUSHED BRASS & TERRAZZO ⭐

Following on from my previous post, I have since just completed another wonderful transformation for the same clients, transforming their main bathroom

Like every job I end up taking on, there was some serious graft rectifying some dodgy building work previously done with the floor with snapped joists, unlevel in all directions and bodgery at its finest with some questionable methods of tile preparation (which basically did not exist) 🤠

Floor repairs carried out, made level, new deck, no more trampoline 🤡

Freestanding bath removed to make way for a normal size bath more practically for us taller people, shower cubicle made larger also and basin unit reduced and relocated to allow for actual space 😅

A lovely range of tiles all supplied by we have the “Hoxton Burnt Orange” Porcelain in the shower area, and the “Hoxton Peach” on the remaining wall areas, grouted in Ardex Natural Almond with matching sealant and brushed brass trims

On the floor we have 600x600 “Terrazzo Nouveau Ivory Matt” with Ardex Antique Ivory grout

Brushed brass radiator and valves, shower enclosure, concealed thermostatic shower, basin tap and bath and shower tray all supplied 🤝

A perfect way to add value to your home 💰 This 5 bedroom Victorian terraced property only had one main bathroom and a downstairs toilet, the top floor has two huge bedrooms so we were able to split one off to create an additional bathroom👌luckily the joists ran front to back so we were able to easily meet the external soil stack and keep all pipe work under the floor!

With the space we had, we were able to squeeze in an 1.1 x 3.0m bathroom area whilst still keeping the remaining bedroom as a double. I decided to keep the shape of the old chimney breast within the shower area instead of just boarding over to make flat, of course it made it harder for me to tile but I do these things at the time then regret when it comes to tile, but I think it looks 👌 added a niche too 😎

There’s no better feeling than stripping back to bare and starting over knowing everything you do going forward has been done to perfection 👌

This standard size bathroom has been made bigger by taking hallway space and building over the stairs to open it up (carpentry work carried out by someone else) which has made a huge difference.

Bringing back the country feel to this 1800s cottage that was once part of the St Fagans Estate 🏡

The biggest challenge on this one was the floor, original floorboards and just under 40mm out of level over a 1.8m span. Boards lifted and joists levelled out, boarded over and tiled with “Trulli Ivory” Matt Stone Effect Porcelain tiles 60x40 from finished with Ardex “Antique Ivory” grout

All pipe work has been hard piped and painted with brass fittings

Freestanding bath tub on feet installed 🛀

Close coupled Burlington Traditional Toilet 🚽

Chatsworth pedestal basin fitted and all brassware is Chatsworth Antique Brass (Bath & Basin taps, Bath and Basin waste, thermostatic shower with diverter, toilet flush handle, toilet roll holder) 👌

As the surrounding bath walls are lime plaster, it was too risky to attempt tiling directly onto so it was overboarded and mechanically fixed, then tiled with “Tan Tan Desert” 10x10 Ceramic Tiles from finished with BAL “Jasmine” Grout

Walls, Ceiling and all woodwork then painted with Edward Bulmer Natural Paint and the colour used is “Fawn”. Highly recommended paint for use with lime walls.

Another immaculate job done in Cardiff Bay 👌

A nasty leak had completely destroyed this shower, and everything else around it including the floor soaked through and had even tracked UP the bottom of the plasterboard on the opposite side of the room 😅

All stripped back, studs renewed, plasterboard renewed and of course tanked. We managed to squeeze an extra 100mm for the shower tray in the process and we took away all the boxing in where the basin and concealed toilet was to give some extra floor space.

The wall tiles are “Mayer Onyx” 30x60 Ceramic from and the floor tiles are “Ayce White” also from Topps, both finished with BAL Microflex White Grout 👍

The basin and towel radiator were salvageable so they stayed but we installed a close coupled toilet instead. Shower tray, thermostatic shower and sliding door all renewed.

Just completed in Morganstown, Cardiff.

Full Bathroom Renovation finished to absolute perfection if I do say so myself 👌

Removing the original 20 something year old bathroom and making it more modern with an elegant mixture of marble effect tiles, freestanding bath and wall hung basin unit and counter top basin, and gunmetal brassware 😎

Gunmetal Towel Radiator with matching corner valves and pipe sleeves. Gunmetal ceiling spotlights. It’s all in the detail👌

Wall Tiles:- Roma Blanco 25x40 Ceramic from with Grout3000 “Pure White” grout

Floor Tiles:- Staunton Graphite 60x60 Porcelain from with BAL “Ebony” Grout

All furniture, sanitaryware and brassware supplied by Cardiff 🤝
