Introducing one of our latest projects in Wandsworth where our clients tasked us to extend and remodel their family home. Having recently bought their property and lived there for a short while, they’ve come to realise that the current layout doesn’t suit their lifestyle. The two reception rooms and separate kitchen, although large, feel disconnected and don’t lend themselves to modern family life or entertaining.
Our solution involves extending to the rear and maximising the space in the basement. We've proposed a full width rear extension with feature up and over window and side to side roof light which creates the perfect open plan kitchen/dining/living space, ideal for all the family to gather.
To maximise the loft space, we’ve included a large projected dormer which significantly increases the head height within the rear bedrooms, giving a sense of light and space whilst tying together the rear elevation.
The scheme is topped off by large slimline sliding doors that open out onto a feature raised deck, sophisticated dining area and outdoor kitchen, perfect for indoor/outdoor entertaining and enjoying those long summer evenings.
