A few snaps before the deluge today. The borders, crevice garden and raised beds filling out to provide a rich evolving display having planted intensely over the last two years. Final pic, a recent bed showcasing a diversity of woodland perennials. More planting and development to come.

Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' in the crevice garden

A form of Filipendula palmata in the borders at Hartside. This is a great garden plant for moisture retentive soils, attractive foliage, flower structure and colour. It combines well with the vigorous Rodgersia and Aruncus which has now passed its peak.
