Another pointing job Henry Street this time done in the traditional Style with lime mortar sharp sand and beaten with a brush to achieve a rough textured finish Whare as all the quoins mullions lintels and sills surrounding the windows and door were finished with a smooth finish cut and dressed pointing style wasn't always a fan of this finish but it has grown on me to the point where I can't make my mind up what style I like best what do you guys think give me some feedback do you prefer this or my usual Style✌🏻❤️🤝🏻

Really happy to have undertaken this pointing Project at the toolbar Cottage on the entrance to Langholm if I said this was a bit of a challenge it would be an understatement lots of awkward bits with pronounced coins are every turn window and ledge also the turrets not to mention it was so close to the highway but I got there in the end and I'm over the moon with the results

Very well known langholm structure that I was proud to have had a hand in the construction of. Not many people will know this but all the stone used to erect this local landmark was cut and dressed at point of source at an old disused Quarry on the back of white a hill behind the monument.

Various jobs displayed here ( I won't lie there were definitely moments where my skills were challenged but I succeeded in the end as you can see the work speaks for itself) while undertaking a full renovation of a five bedroom detached property in the lovely location of marple bridge in Derbyshire and yes it is we're Miss Marple Drew her name from 🏡t
