recent complete bathroom refurbishment.
quite a bit of work went into this on the quiet with sorting the walls to level and square them up but totally worth it !
going to make the customers life a lot easier and will be a pleasant room to be in.
mostly supplied by Bathtime Northwest , tiles from Topps.
customer supplied mirror and tall boiler cupboard,
came together very nice indeed 👌

Fellow GDM followers.
l know the weather is due to get a little warmer but still be wary and prepared.
l was called yesterday by a distressed neighbour with water coming through a bedroom ceiling !!
l promptly told them what actions to take and was soon at the property.
as suspected a burst pipe due to the freezing conditions.
this happened due the pipe not being insulated correctly
luckily they was in and responded quickly to isolate the water , damage had been caused over the matter of minutes but could of been quite catastrophic !!
so just think if you may have some vulnerable pipes ??
this includes outside taps and boiler condensate pipes

This very smart and modern utility which has had the works.
previously had a dark coloured kitchen in and was always a dark room with it location within the property.
main kitchen has been relocated so this space had a new purpose.
So fresh and light space way key !
Its had the works , fully plastered , decorated , flooring, units and worktop install.
New oak glazed french doors plus all the small details done by GDM

As the saying goes , you can knock years off with a little bit of care!
This one got more than a little.
Windows was looking very tired and needed alot of tlc, a labour of love but totally worth it!
taking back the layers / years of paint to ensure the all was sound and ready for new.
Coated in Little Greens paint , a subtle but yet elegant and timeless "Slaked Lime"
This old girl has got what she deserves 💕👌

so this is shocking !
one of my customers for over five years got there bathroom refurbished prior to finding me.
whilst on another current job on the property l discover this !!
note no chimney breast below ...
instead of advising the customer that they upper chimney requires removal and will require additional cost they do this so they get there money and walk away !
probably about a ton of weight hanging over there new shower area !!
how do they sleep at night 😳.

So much work put into this kitchen .. but how stunning does it look now !!!
Rotten flooring and joists replaced.
Magnet matt charcoal units
Oak grained worktops and upstands from Bay Woods
LVT Flooring from plus flooring.
Feature wall covering from Next

Alot of long days and even finishing off on a Sunday !!! but what a finish, the devil is in the details.
All done from start to finish by GDM ...
