*Let's talk about PRICING...honestly and openly*.

We've put together this post as there's still a huge gap between what people think a sweep costs, and what it actually takes to run a professional, reliable, fully insured business.

Sweeping is skilled and physically demanding work. It provides a bespoke service, which keeps you and your loved ones safe, providing peace of mind.

From the 1st of July, our sweeping rates will start from £65 a sweep (in line with many competitors), because they have to. That money helps to cover: wages, pensions, NI, tax, travel, mileage, insurance, equipment, products, admin, utilities and all the other overheads that keep a business, like ours, running smoothly and legally. Not to mention school holidays and the costs of family life!
Even at this rate, the margins are still tight.

Fair pricing isn't greedy-it's sustainable. It means we can support our family, while providing a service we're proud of.

Thank you to every customer who continues to support us, we really do value each and every one of you.

This baffle plate definitely needed replacing! Overfiring your stove, can cause some of the interior parts to crack and warp. We advised this customer to get a magnetic thermometer for their flue pipe.
