Golden Homes tree and garden services Golden Homes Landscapes is established over 20 years. Hi, Golden Homes tree and garden services is a family run business that is based in Newtownabbey Co.

We specialise in tree surgery, grass cutting, hedge cutting and all garden services in Newtownabbey and Greater Belfast. Antrim. My wife Gill administrates, dealing with customers and scheduling of work etc. her background is in business management and so she keeps the rest of us in line and customers informed. My name is James and I am Gills husband. I have been involved in tree work and gardenin

g for over 35 years. I did an apprenticeship in horticulture with Belfast City Council where I worked as a gardener in various supervisory roles. In 1995 I went out on my own and started a busy commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance business called James Sheridan Contracts Limited. To help us meet the needs of private customers we bought Golden Homes about twenty years ago. Our two sons help us in the business. Ryan our oldest son was qualified in horticulture at Greenmount college, while our younger son Luke is qualified in arboriculture through Arbotec who are based in Ballycastle. Both have worked with us since leaving school and are passionate about their roles in the business. We have a great team of guys and are well equipped as you might imagine with so many years in the trade. Heres a list of some of the type of work we do.

*Planting of trees, hedges and shrubs by a qualified gardener (We buy our quality plants from growers throughout Europe and can usually supply and plant for cheaper than you can buy plants out of a garden centre or DIY store.)
