This couple contacted us to modernise and extend their paved area at the back of their house and to install drainage as there currently was flooding every time it rained.

I think it's fair to say we've left them a lovely useable modern looking space!!

Materials were provided by our trusted suppliers Eglantine Timber Sullatober Building Supplies and McMonagle Stone

I got called out by a customer who had previously got concrete posts installed to replace wooden posts by a previous contractor. Unfortunately these concrete posts snapped during one of the recent storms.

We removed the broken concrete posts and installed galvanised box section posts with caps supplied by Eglantine Timber to give the customer peace of mind for years to come.

Great timing for storm Dave arriving!

Its a good sign when you don't even stop in the winter months!!

If you remember we posted a video a few weeks back showing drainage issues (see post above)

This garden belongs to a young couple with two small children and a dog. They moved into a new build a few years again and the garden had been a swamp ever since!! It was such an unworkable space and the kids could hardly use it at any stage of the year.

After some A Better Garden magic the family have a beautiful and useable garden. We paved a good majority of the area and added artificial grass for the kids. We also created a utility area at the side of the house by recycling the old flags we lifted.

What a pleasure to turn this in to a garden to suit all the family.

Happy New Year!!

We are a bit late 😏 but no rest for us despite the weather in January!

Sometimes you just aren't sure whether a garden really needs drainage or not and then sometimes it leaves you in no doubt! Here is a video highlighting just that...

We will be posting up the finished job very soon so keep up with us on socials!

One of the last updates of the year! We have been working away at this new build house the past few weeks.

The clients approached us as the garden was an absolute swamp and they hated the flags the builder had laid.

The plan involves it all coming out and a new garden being sorted for this couples two young boys to play in from the new year. That's a great Santa present!

We have made progress as 40 tonne was dug out and drainage has been put in. 30 tonne of stone has also been brought in and put in place.

This is one to watch for in the New Year!!

Time for an update don't you think!? Now that we are nearly cleared up for Christmas, we have a spare minute to update you on some of the latest jobs...

So let's go back to the one we started a couple of weeks ago. These lovely clients got their back garden done last year and have had lots of enjoyment in it through the summer months.

But as quite often happens...when you see the results in one area, its hard not to update another! So this year the front garden was our project.

The weather hasn't been kind at times but we and the clients are delighted with the results! What do you think?

Thanks always to Eglantine Timber and Sullatober Building Supplies for the quality products.

No sign of slowing down as we approach the festive season and a bit of frost just adds to the challenge lol!

This week we started the front garden of a client who's back garden we did around this time last year. We always appreciate repeat business and it's a pleasure to see the space we transformed matured a year on.

Keep an eye for the incoming transformation pics of the front garden !!

A NEW BUILD WITH A BLANK CANVAS

These clients have not long moved into their new build property but moved in with great plans to create a vibrant personalised garden space from the outset.

We met with them and came up with the idea of breaking the garden into different areas. We then got 3d images created for them and we came in and turned the images into reality!

Have to say we are really pleased with how this one turned out and the clients love it.

Always a pleasure to transform a space in to something special!

Work smarter... Not Harder!!

Over 100 flags lifted and stacked in 4 hours, one man no heavy lifting.

Our new project hasn't been touched since the house was built over 30 years ago! We are going to replace all existing flagging and steps with new blue limestone and add additional paving with a covered in area at the far side.

We can't wait to see this one!
