Customer asked for a lower maintenance garden. Cleared the w**ds & adusted the soil level to allow a good depth of budget friendly clean 20mm limestone chippings. Installed a one piece heavy duty w**d suppressant membrane. Added the stone, de w**ded the raised planter Tided up the front garden . another happy customer.

When your asked to help with a project 😬. After a long chat it turned in to a job I was willing to take on. Luckily the clients are very hands on & the hole from the pond had been filled with hardcore on my first visit & the 6x2 timber waiting. Reducing & squaring up the block work harder graft than expected but managed to get the front & sides on.
Next visit the clients had been busy again with lining & the top soil. I had more block work removal at the rear & 6x2 waiting. Alternate butt joints, metal fixing plates to provide extra rigidity to the back of the front timbers, securely plugged and screwed to the old block work. Sides, back & Top on finishing it off very nicely for the client to get planting.

The hardest digging I’ve had since Ive started out, the fork wouldn’t break the surface so out came the sharp spade. I will be investing in a mattock for future jobs 🤣. Hard graft and motivation has enabled the client the ability to plant some colour in her borders again.
