As many have seen, the big announcement about my business taking on a new contract and becoming approved contractors for South East & London Academy.

We were asked if we could start on Saturday, which is usually a rest day for me and the team.
But behind the scenes, running your own business never stops — working out quotes, booking jobs in, and taking new enquiries.

After speaking with the team and arranging extra hands, we confirmed with the school that we could attend on Saturday. We were then asked if we could complete a set of classrooms.
We were up for the challenge to see how many classrooms we could get done. We managed to complete 2 classrooms, and yes, we even went in today on the bank holiday to keep things moving.

To complete 2 classrooms in a day and a half is very impressive, especially considering some rooms had AC and one didn’t.

All I can say is, AC or not, these classrooms were absolute sweatboxes. The team didn’t complain once and carry on — we were on a mission. Considering the temperature outside, inside felt double.

Plenty of fluids, sweat pouring back out, but we still cracked on and managed to get them done.

Now the 3rd classroom is underway and due to be finished by tomorrow/Wednesday.

This one took a hammering with the amount of prep work needed — 10kg of filler on the walls, yes you heard me right, a whole bag of filler!

But one thing I can say is no job is too big or too small — we’ll get it done no matter the weather.

But all i can say is thank uou to the team sticking in there in this heat to get the job done

🚨 BIG ACHIEVEMENT & A HUGE MILESTONE FOR US 🚨

Running a small business is never easy — long hours, hard work, pressure, and building a reputation through regular clients and builders. But moments like this make it all worth it.
Today we’re proud to say we’ve secured a school contract and have officially been approved to complete 15 classrooms as Phase 1 🎨🏫

We’ve been given 7 weeks to complete the project, and we’re ready to smash it 💪
I also want to say a massive thank you to my team for sticking by me over these last few months with the amount of work we’ve had to push out. The hard work and loyalty hasn’t gone unnoticed.
To top it all off, our diary is now booked up for the next 4.5 months 🙌

This is a massive milestone for us at This Is How We Roll. Painting & Decorating, and hopefully it’s only the beginning of bigger things ahead. 🎨🛠️

This beauty salon transformation is just getting started 🔥

We recently took on a project to transform this shop into a beauty salon after the client had previously hired a local handyman for a refurbishment that unfortunately wasn’t progressing.

After a few weeks of delays, we were asked to quote for redecoration. Following several conversations, we ended up taking on the full project.

So far, my team and I have spent around two and a half days on site. We’ve had to strip back a lot of the recent work and start again from the basics to ensure everything is done properly.
Here’s what we’ve completed so far: •
Removed the old flooring and installed 12mm thick laminate
• Built a new wall for the treatment room
• Started plasterboarding

As you see, we’re just getting started — plenty more to come! 👀
