I've realised I haven't posted on here in over a year!! I have been so busy working on many amazing projects with lots of lovely Clients. Always working on my professional development whilst balancing family life.
My youngest will be starting primary school in September so that's a big milestone for both of us!

I was so pleased to be able to visit a finished project this morning, it looks absolutely fantastic 🤩
I have built a lovely relationship with the Client over the years we have worked together on this. They worked so hard and have done a really brilliant job of bringing my drawings into reality 😁

This morning I went to watch my daughters first school sports day 😁
Then at lunchtime I attended a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) about Party Walls, Rights to Light and Daylight & Sunlight Assessment. Thank you CIAT Wessex for your brilliant [CPD in 43]!
I love how I'm always learning something new and expanding my skills/knowledge

On the 15th June 2022 new Building Regulations Approved Documents came into force.

Part L - Conservation of Fuel & Power. This updated document is intended to deliver a 31% reduction in carbon emissions!

As a very basic example of how this will affect new residential buildings a new masonry cavity wall will need to have a 150mm wide cavity fully filled with mineral wool insulation to meet the required U-Value.
