Getting garden ready ☀️☀️☀️☀️

We are busy getting gardens ready for the summer weather, here's a throwback to a garden project we completed for a customer who wanted integrated seating and storage as part of their new decking.
We also installed a new gate to the garden some new fencing along the length of the garden to finish it off.

BEFORE & AFTER 👀➡️➡️➡️

Let the light in.... The back wall of the house came out and a glass extension was put on to extend the dining room. Adding an extra space to relax in on those sunny days.

The ceilings came down and went back up, the whole space was plastered, new lighting and plug sockets were added, new flooring was layed and a coat of paint to finish.

The little things to make life easier...

We fitted this telescopic loft ladder for a customer who wanted the loft to be easily accessible, not feeling like it was a chore to get in and out of.

Historically you needed a large hatch and substantial space inside the loft to have a built in ladder. But with the introduction of telescopic ladders this isn't the case anymore.

This was a Telesteps loft line mini from . The ladder is easy to pull out to the desired length and securing it in place before use is just as quick. It takes up minimal space in the attic and requires a very small loft hatch.

Friday kitchen inspiration...

You don't always need to change everything to give a room a lift.
We had the pleasure of going back to a customer that we had fitted the kitchen for 5 years previously to change their sink.

They felt they wanted a update but weren't looking to change the whole kitchen. The chose the elements ingneous granite 1.5 sink in ash black.

Gave a whole new feel to the kitchen and all done in just a couple of hours

Window-less bathrooms...

We helped a customer make the small bathroom feel more spacious and bright. The house is a barn conversion and when planned, the bathroom was left without a window. This meant that it was always felt damp and wet as the steam could never escape.

As part of the bathroom renovation we added an expelair from and since the customer has seen a massive difference.

The renovation included taking our the old bathroom suite and taking off the tiles. The new bathroom suite was from , tiles , shower and taps .
To finish of the customer opted to have ceiling spot lights added and a plumbed in towel radiator.

All in all a great renovation project and another happy customer.

DIY tips for the weekend...

This one may seem basic and you might think what's the problem with using my vacuum cleaner its only a bit of dust 🤷🏻‍♀️

But brick, plaster, sawdust etc... Is much finer than your the average day to day dust your vacuum is designed to pick up. Building dust will clog up your filters, your motor and into areas you can't clean.
The last thing you want after putting up some shelves, is your vacuum cleaner to go 💥.
So unless you have a specialist builders vacuum, steer clear.

Kitchen inspiration ...

Thought we could head into the weekend with a little look at beautiful kitchen installation we finished for a customer of

Doors were laser mineral grey with the bronze accent door, matching bronze slimline worktops and a mirror splash back.
The customer opted for side by side ovens, hob with built in extractor and wine fridge to complete the kitchen.

The media unit was finished in the same colours as the kitchen to complement the open plan living space.

We are pleased to say another happy customer.
