Not something you see every day… 😳

While installing a new ACO drainage system, we uncovered severe root ingress within the existing drainage.

After some investigation, repairs and a new section of pipework, everything was back on track and ready for the next stage of the project.

I reckon a lawn is only as good as its edges.

You can lay the best turf in the world, but if the edges aren’t right, it never quite looks finished.

The corten steel on this one gives a clean separation between the lawn, gravel and planting without shouting for attention.

Simple job. Nice result.

Composite decking and hot tub area we completed earlier this year.

A clean, low maintenance outdoor space designed for relaxing and entertaining, with integrated steps, raised sleeper beds and structured planting to soften everything off.

Gardens are becoming more about creating usable outdoor living spaces rather than just somewhere to look at.

Designed to make the indoor and outdoor space feel as one 👌

The tones and border detail of this composite decking were carefully chosen to tie into the kitchen flooring along with the anthracite doors and window frames, helping create a much more seamless flow through the large opening doors into the garden.

Finished using hidden fixing systems with all spacing carefully set to manufacturer specifications, allowing the boards to naturally move and perform properly through changing temperatures.

It’s often the small details you don’t immediately notice that make the biggest difference long term.

Most people only ever see the finished decking… but what’s underneath is what actually matters.

A proper composite decking frame should be:
• Structurally solid
• Built with correct joist spacing
• Properly supported throughout
• Built to manufacturer specifications
• Protected against long term moisture

This frame was built using 6x2 structural timbers, joist hangers throughout, and bitumen protection to the top of the frame to help increase longevity.

A membrane and gravel base has also been installed beneath the frame to help suppress w**d growth and improve drainage beneath the decking.

If the frame isn’t built correctly, not only can the decking fail prematurely, but manufacturer warranties can also become void.

This is the stage most people never see, but it’s often the most important part of the entire installation.

Your front garden is the first thing you and everyone else sees when arriving home, yet it’s often one of the most overlooked areas of a property.

Even relatively simple changes can completely transform the feel of a home and massively improve kerb appeal.

For this project, we widened the entrance path, replaced the tired concrete slabs with Egyptian limestone, added limestone stackers for the edging, fresh gravel and new planting to create a much warmer and more premium entrance.

Clean, simple and in keeping with the property 👌

There’s something about a rustic garden that just feels right. Natural timber, winding paths, wildlife planting and spaces that actually feel alive 🌿

Gardens don’t need to be sterile and perfect to look beautiful. By using natural materials, wildlife-friendly planting, ponds, bug hotels and habitat features, you create a space that not only looks stunning, but genuinely supports nature too.

Wildlife ponds can attract frogs, dragonflies, birds and pollinators. Bug hotels provide shelter for beneficial insects and natural pollinators. Even small changes can massively improve biodiversity in a garden.
