Flooded grounds - What a huge amount of rain we've had in Essex 🌧! And with that, the impact on the the ground can be huge, especially with more rain to come in the coming months 🌦.

Team Atlas have done a brilliant job this week pruning this massive London Plane. Off the back of some decay detection and an aerial inspection it was recommended that some reduction work was undertaken. A spec of a 4 metre reduction in height and a 3-4 metre selective reduction of lateral spread was approved by the Local Planning Authority. We worked hard to prune the tree in a way that did not alter its character, and and did a fantastic job in the MEWP. Very pleased with the outcome and love the fact that you can see the tree from a couple of miles away! Makes the miles walking spotting the guys in over 3 days well worth it. Thanks .co.uk for supplying the MEWP.

When a 4m reduction equates to just over 10% of the height....... That is a big tree! Estimated at about 36m tall this London Plane has a few structural defects. We are carrying out pruning works to alleviate loading and to try and stimulate some more internal growth for future pruning works. Good work and . Thanks spiderlift.co.uk for the 33m MEWP.
