Lavender Green Gardens We design bespoke gardens for private and commercial clients in London and thoughout the UK from our offices in Chelsea and Windsor.

After 30 years of helping clients realise their visions in floral design at Lavender Green Flowers, we are thrilled to be taking our creativity and passion for flowers and plants out into the garden with the launch of Lavender Green Gardens. Our new garden design studio is led by Managing Director Colin Gray and good friend Freya Willetts, who trained at The London College of Garden Design togethe

United by shared design values and with years of combined experience in working closely with clients, Colin and Freya work in partnership on all garden and landscape design projects and provide the same personalised service that has become Lavender Green’s signature. From that initial spark of excitement at the kitchen table, through to concept visuals, technical drawings, build and aftercare, we guide and support each client through the journey of reinventing their outdoor space, whether it’s an intimate urban courtyard or an expansive rural estate. Sometimes when we collect pots for our gardens over time, we can end up with lots of different items in relatively small sizes and quite contrasting styles - which can leave the garden feeling a bit cluttered and incoherent. Unifying your pots can make a huge difference to a space that feels tired, instantly adding a sense of calm and stylistic identity and even helping to resolve maintenance issues. A view of our Oxfordshire project that started building this week. At the moment this new build has only a strip of terrace and an empty lawn. With a simple design of new seating area, pathway and tree and perennial planting, we’ve created destinations within the space and a far lusher garden to relax in, garden in and enjoy the wildlife that’s sure to move in. We are really excited to say that build starts on this Oxfordshire project this week! The design has inevitably gone through a few modifications since this initial plan, but the key elements remain the same: breaking up the existing turf to create new paths, a new pergola-covered seating area, and new planting beds. The final design also includes a water feature to provide a focal point through the view from the kitchen.
We are lucky to have a fantastic team working together on this project and look forward to sharing more as the build gets underway.

The bobbly seed heads of Japanese Anemone can look ethereally beautiful well into winter. These plants are perennial which means they’ll grow back again next year and you can enjoy their elegant white flowers all over again. So when they get like this, don’t pull them out and throw them away, just trim them back and let their plant neighbours take over til next year.
We’re popping back to this project today to give the planting a tidy up and add a few more seasonal performers to the mix.
