A look back at our pre-Christmas emergency works at Waitrose Monmouth.
Following the severe flooding, we supported urgent recovery works including refurbishment support and the relocation and installation of damaged refrigeration equipment.
Thanks to a strong team effort and close coordination with all parties, the store was successfully reopened in time for Christmas.

Four months on — project successfully delivered.

We’re proud to look back on this project and reflect on what the team at RAW Mechanical delivered for a high-end client.

Despite a demanding programme and high expectations, the works were completed on time, to a high standard, and fully aligned with the client’s brief from the outset.
This project is a strong example of what can be achieved through clear communication, detailed planning, and a committed site team.

Credit to everyone involved — from early coordination through to final handover ,the level of professionalism and attention to detail throughout was evident.

Projects like this reinforce our continued focus on quality, programme discipline, and building strong, long-term working relationships.

Great to see the momentum building on our multi-floor refurbishment project .

Teams are working across multiple floors simultaneously, coordinating mechanical and plumbing works to keep everything on schedule and to spec. The photos show just some of the progress being made across the site this week.

Every floor tells its own story – from first fix to final touches – and it’s all down to the dedication of the people on the tools.

This week we’re replacing FCU valves across 3 floors, with an unbeatable view of The Gherkin. To keep things running smoothly without draining the system, we’re freezing pipework with liquid nitrogen – precision work at height!

Five Mitsubishi Chillers Delivered & Positioned

A major milestone on site this week – five Mitsubishi Electric chillers have arrived, positioned, and are now ready for installation.

Configured as three units in series and another two in series, these will deliver an efficient, flexible cooling solution for the building. All units have been set on Midfix frames, ensuring a secure and level installation platform.

Huge thanks to the team for coordinating delivery, positioning, and getting everything in place safely. Next step – installation and commissioning.
