❤️ More than just a bathroom transformation
This recent project in Swindon is a great example of why we love what we do.
Our client could no longer safely manage the stairs, which meant that having a shower had become a real challenge. In fact, he was having to leave his home and travel to the local leisure centre just to be able to shower.
During our initial consultation, we looked at the options available and realised that we could transform the existing utility room into a safe, accessible wetroom — giving our client the facilities he needed right there in his own home.
The project involved creating a new partition wall and doorway, installing a level-access shower and fitting Altro safety flooring with an upstand to provide a safe and waterproof environment.
We also installed a raised-height WC, meaning our client no longer needed to rely on a toilet frame.
But for us, the most important part of this job isn't the walls, flooring or bathroom fittings.
It's what the finished bathroom means to our client.
No more having to leave home just to have a shower. No more relying on the leisure centre. Just a safe, accessible bathroom in his own home, giving him back a little more independence and dignity.
When our client told us how happy and grateful he was with the finished result, it made all the hard work worthwhile.
